The collection includes correspondence, poetry, and other writings of Dorothy Harvey Leonard. It also includes family manuscripts, genealogy, and other memorabilia of the Harvey, Thorp, Sharpless, and related Quaker families which were collected by Leonard and her sister, Ruth Harvey Mavronikolas. Of particular interest is the correspondence of Dorothy Harvey Leonard with her parents, Cyril H. & Ruth S. Harvey, from Friends Boarding School in Barnesville, Ohio.
